Details
Whereas most Philodendrons are vine like climbers Red Emerald has a more compact habit, producing leaves closely together. It uses its ariel roots to attach to wood or rock as it climbs and is a great plant for the back wall of a terrarium, both because of its habit and attractive colour. It dislikes very wet conditions and tolerates low humidity better than many other phildendrons.
